Tate Collier Ratledge is a collegiate football offensive guard for the Georgia Bulldogs, representing the University of Georgia in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Ratledge was a student at Darlington School, where he represented his school football team. At the end of his high school career, Ratledge was rated as a four-star recruit and committed to Georgia Bulldogs over his childhood team, the Tennessee Volunteers.

Tate Ratledge became a member of the Georgia Bulldogs college football team in 2020. He is notable for winning two CFP national championships alongside his team in 2021 and 2022 respectively. Besides championships, he also participated in the Orange Bowl in 2023 with the Bulldogs. As of December 2024, Tate Ratledge has received First-team All-SEC honors in 2023 and 2024 and earned First-team All-American honors in 2024 respectively.

Notably, Tate Ratledge earned Rome News-Tribune All-Area Football First Team offense honors twice in 2017 and 2018 due to his skills. Additionally, he was also selected to the Class A-Private All-State first team offense by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution as well as the Georgia Sports Writers Association in 2019. He was also declared as a USA Today Preseason All-American First Team selection honoree in 2019 and his football skills also led him to be selected to the inaugural Sports Illustrated All-American First Team offense in 2019. He was rated as a four-star prospect by 247Sports and he also competed while representing the East in the All-American Bowl in 2020. Tate Ratledge became a graduate from his school in 2020, as per MaxPreps. Following the end of his high school football career, Tate Ratledge started his college football career with the Georgia Bulldogs the same year.
