Tennessee vs. Georgia Injury Report: List of players injured

The Tennessee Volunteers take on the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens this weekend in a Top 25 showdown in the Southeastern Conference. For the first time in a while, the SEC is wide open, making every ranked conference matchup more crucial down the stretch of the season.

Tennessee checks in as the No. 7 team in the country with an 8-1 record overall and a 5-1 record in conference play. The Volunteers are coming off a 33-14 win over Mississippi State last weekend.

The Bulldogs, meanwhile, are lingering around SEC contention with a 7-2 record on the season and a 5-1 record in the SEC. Georgia is looking to bounce back after an abysmal 28-10 loss versus Ole Miss last week.

Availability could play a crucial role in the outcome of this highly anticipated SEC matchup.

Tennessee Injury Report

The Volunteers have seven players listed on their Week 12 injury report versus Georgia:

#1. Nico Iamaleava, QB - In

After being questionable all week, Nico Iamaleava was given a healthy designation ahead of Saturday's game. Iamaleava left last week's game versus Mississippi State with an upper-body injury but was cleared on Friday.

#2. Dont'e Thornton, WR - In

Like his quarterback, Dont'e Thornton was questionable on Wednesday and Thursday's injury reports before being cleared on Friday, making him a healthy designation for Saturday's game.

While the Volunteers will be happy to get back their leading receiver and starting quarterback, they could be without five players versus the Bulldogs:

#2. Micah Morris, OL - Questionable

Micah Morris has been listed as questionable after suffering a lower-body injury versus Florida on Nov. 2.
