The Texas A&M Aggies are getting ready to take on the USC Trojans in the Las Vegas Bowl inside Allegiant Stadium on Friday night. With the NCAA transfer portal and players opting out of bowl games, understanding which players are going to be on the field for the bowl game.

The Texas A&M Aggies are going to be calling up freshman quarterback Marcel Reed to be under center for the program in the Las Vegas Bowl. He took over as the starting quarterback in November and has not relinquished that spot ever since.

On the season, Reed has completed 121 of 198 (61.1%) passes for 1,572 yards with 12 passing touchdowns to four interceptions while also running 107 times for 501 yards (4.7 yards per carry) with six rushing touchdowns on the season. Reed also has done an outstanding job in terms of avoiding being sacked as he has only been sacked 13 times, and never more than four times in a single game.

What does the Texas A&M Aggies quarterback depth chart look like?

The Texas A&M Aggies have only used three quarterbacks throughout the season with one being Marcel Reed and the other being Connor Weigman, who has already entered the NCAA transfer portal.

The listed backup quarterback for this game is freshman quarterback Miles O'Neill, who has completed 5 of 6 (83.3%) passes for 51 yards with one touchdown pass so far this season.

Outside of the top two quarterbacks still with the program, Blake Bost, Peyton Gay, Jalen Henderson, Paxton Land, Dylan Mayers, and Dallas Novicke are all listed as on the roster, according to ESPN. However, their official placement in the depth chart is unknown and likely will not be known during the Las Vegas Bowl.
