Quinn Ewers and Madelyn Barnes are an item, and Barnes is fond of capturing the Texas Longhorns star on game days. Following the Longhorns' 38-24 victory over the Clemson Tigers in the College Football Playoff on Saturday, Barnes shared some pictures on Instagram.
Ewers commented on his girlfriend's page:
"Wonderful memories."
Ewers and Barnes have been together since 2023. Barnes is a regular attendee of her boyfriend's games. They'll keep showcasing couple goals as the fifth-seeded Longhorns (12-2) work towards a deep postseason run.
How did Quinn Ewers perform against the Clemson Tigers?
Quinn Ewers had a decent but primarily unspectacular game against the Clemson Tigers in the first round of the expanded College Football Playoff. Ewers was able to steady the ship and ensure that the Longhorns didn't go one and done.
Ewers recorded a stat line of 202 passing yards, with a touchdown and an interception. Furthermore, he was sacked twice and had a passer rating of 87.5. Ewers' performance likely won't be enough to quell the calls for Arch Manning to take over the starting quarterback role, but a win is a win.
What's next for Quinn Ewers and the Longhorns?
Ewers and the Texas Longhorns overcame a spirited effort from the Clemson Tigers in their opening playoff game. They're now where they want to be: in the thick of the playoff action.
The Longhorns will face the fourth-seeded Arizona State Sun Devils (11-2) in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta on Jan. 1 on ESPN.
Ewers will need to play much better against the Sun Devils, who are known for their stingy defense. Arizona State has let just three teams record 30 points against it.
