Texas vs Arkansas prediction & betting tips - Nov. 16 | College Football Week 12

The Texas Longhorns are on the road to play the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday, Nov. 16, at noon EST. The game can be seen on ABC.

No. 3 Texas (8-1, 4-1 SEC) is coming off a 49-17 win over Florida. Arkansas (5-4, 3-3 SEC) is coming off a 63-31 loss to Ole Miss on Nov. 2.

Texas is a 13.5-point favorite on the road, while the over/under is set at 57.5 points.

The Longhorns are coming off a blowout win over Florida. Texas is on a two-game winning streak after the loss to Georgia ,which doesn't look as good anymore.

"This was probably our most complete game as a football team," coach Steve Sarkisian said, via SI. "You know, at the end it gets a little sideways but just the way we played in all three phases, the fact that we played really well from a complementary football standpoint, that was something we really challenged the players on.

"We're good in all three phases but we're at our best when all three phases play together and I thought that showed up today."

The Longhorns are led by Quinn Ewers who has thrown for 1,722 yards, 19 touchdowns and six interceptions. Quintrevion Wisner has 409 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while Gunnar Helm has 461 passing yards and three touchdowns.

Defensively, Texas is led by Jahdae Barron and Andrew Mukuba who have three interceptions each. Anthony Hill Jr. has 5.5 sacks as well as 66 tackles.

Arkansas, meanwhile, is coming off a blowout loss to Ole Miss two weeks ago and had its bye week last week.

"Obviously give credit to Ole Miss," coach Sam Pittman said, via Rivals. "Jaxson Dart was incredible. Watkins was -- couldn't cover him. We've got a long way to go, a lot of work to do. Disappointed in the way we played, our kids are disappointed in the way we played.

"But we're going to have to get healthy, have a good week next week moving on. Very disappointed. I felt like we had them ready to play. Obviously that wasn't the case."

Arkansas is led by Taylen Green who's thrown for 2,214 yards, 11 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Ja'Quinden Jackson has 592 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. Andrew Armstrong leads the team with 857 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Defensively, TJ Metcalf leads the team with three interceptions, Landon Jackson has 4.5 sacks and Xavian Sorey Jr. has 73 tackles.

Arkansas should have used the bye week to focus on its defense as the Razorbacks struggled mightily against Ole Miss. However, Texas' offense is legit. as the Longhorns should be able to score plenty of points to cruise to a lopsided win here.
