How to watch Texas vs Oklahoma
The Texas Longhorns host the Oklahoma Sooners in Week 7.
Here's what you need to know:
Channel: ABC Date: Saturday, October 12, 2024 Live stream: FuboTV and DAZN Time: 2:30 p.m. ET Venue: Cotton Bowl, Dallas, TX
The Texas Longhorns are ranked the number-one program in the country in the latest AP Poll. They are unbeaten this season, having won against Colorado State, Michigan, UTSA, UL Monroe, and Mississippi State.
The Longhorns have one of the best offensive head coaches in all of football, Steve Sarkisian. Sarkisian has guided Arch Manning to take over the starting quarterback job while incumbent QB1 Quinn Ewers recovers from injury.
The Longhorns are fresh off a blowout win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs on the last game day. Manning connected with his receivers with remarkable precision and looks like he'll be the undisputed starter by the time Ewers declares for the NFL Draft.
The Oklahoma Sooners might not be unbeaten, but they, too, have started the season impressively. The Sooners can count wins against Temple, Houston, Tulane and Auburn, with their only loss coming against Tennessee.
The Sooners operate a well-rounded system that prioritizes all movement. Their style of play has bamboozled most programs, and they'll have their toughest game in the Cotton Bowl.
