EA Sports College Football 25 is one of the most awaited 2024 video games, and the wait is nearly over as it's set to release on July 19.
On May 16, fans got to lay their eyes on the first cover photo of the game featuring talented powerhouses Travis Hunter, Donovan Edwards and Texas QB1 Quinn Ewers, followed by the highly anticipated trailer release a few days later.
Fans were thrilled to see their favorite programs and players make an appearance in the game. However, some had concerns about the unrealistic look between the characters and the players.

One of the players whose character looks unrealistic is Quinn Ewers. In a conversation with Robert Griffin III, Ewers addressed the difference (Timestamp: 3:35):
"Man, I don't mind it. I mean, to make him look more like me. I guess they wanted me to, like, shave the beard, I guess just keep the mustache is what it looked like, maybe they're trying to get me to look different.
"But, no, I mean, I'm not too worried about it. It's still it's still a cool, cool experience. And it's cool to be in a video game. I've never been in one. So, it's gonna be pretty cool to play with the horns."
EA Sports College Football 25 releases "toughest places to play" rankings
Last week, EA Sports released its toughest places to play list. Texas A&M's Kyle Field topped the list, Alabama's Denny Bryant Stadium came in second and LSU's Death Valley, aka Tiger Stadium, Georgia's Samford Stadium and Ohio State's Ohio Stadium appeared in the top 5 in EA's list.
College football analyst Josh Pate expressed disagreement with the list:
"Bama has no business being at No. 2. Ohio State has no business being at No. 4. I think Georgia is a touch high at No. 5. These are places where they win all the time."
"Especially Bama and Ohio State, I didn't have either one of my top eight of loudest venues. Maybe I'm just defining it differently than the folks at EA. When you say toughest places to play, though, in fairness, that doesn't have everything to do with atmosphere."
Fans can preorder copies for $69.99 for the standard version of the game and $99.99 for the deluxe version.
