Arch Manning is one of the best backup quarterbacks in college football. The Texas Longhorns shot caller has stepped up admirably when called upon by Steve Sarkisian in Quinn Ewers' absence.

However, with Bill Belichick set to take over the reins at North Carolina, there are rumors that Manning might be tempted to join the future Hall of Fame coach at UNC.

Some fans were more receptive to the idea.

Manning is set to take over the QB1 spot as Quinn Ewers is almost certain to declare for the 2025 NFL draft. It only makes sense as Manning has patiently waited his turn since joining the Longhorns before the 2023 college football season.

This season saw Arch Manning play meaningful minutes for the Longhorns as Ewers missed some games with injuries. In that timeframe, Manning showcased his dual-threat ability, accuracy, and potential to be one of the best quarterbacks in the nation.

He ended the regular season with 939 passing yards, nine touchdowns and two interceptions in eight games (two starts).

Bill Belichick will coach in the NCAA for the first time in 2025

As for Bill Belichick, the legendary NFL coach has agreed to coach the North Carolina Tar Heels for the 2025 season and beyond. Belichick joins after a brief spell away from coaching following his time with the New England Patriots.
