“This is eye opening”: CFB fans left in splits over differences between SEC and ACC Media Days venues

FBS College Media Days have been happening throughout July, with coaches and players from different teams interacting with select media members during their respective conference's week-long presser. This week, the ACC's on the clock as they are scheduled to have their Media Days at Charlotte, North Carolina.

Yesterday, commissioner Jim Phillips gave his customary speech to mark the start of the event. After the speech, representatives from Florida State, Georgia Tech and SMU graced the stage.

Come Tuesday, Cal, Pitt, Stanford, Virginia and Virginia Tech will have their turn. Meanwhile, Boston College, Duke, Louisville, Miami and Wake Forest will face the media on Wednesday. Last but not the least, Clemson, North Carolina, N.C. State and Syracuse will be front and center on Thursday.

Amid the scheduled activities, fans pointed out the difference between the venue and overall look of the SEC and ACC Media Days. The SEC concluded theirs on July 18 at Dallas, Texas.

As seen below, the SEC appeared to have bigger accommodations as opposed to the ACC's more intimate setup.

Some fans shared their reactions regarding the disparity on X/Twitter:

However, others said that the comparison was misleading as coaches have separate sessions in different settings where they address local and national media.
