Deion Sanders' son, Bucky, has reflected on his illustrious father's stint at the Colorado Buffaloes ahead of the clash with Colorado Rams. Sanders is coming off a disappointing 4-8 season in 2023

The Colorado coach has made efforts to turn things around, from changing the offensive line with star players like five-star OL Jordan Seaton, Justin Mayers and Khalil Benson to packing the coaching staff with NFL stars like Warren Sapp.

Many analysts have tipped Deion Sanders' team to secure a Bowl Game spot this season. However, the Buffaloes are not off to a great start, as they barely won their opening game against the NDSU before losing to Matt Rhule's Nebraska in Week 2.

During the "Zero 2 Sixty with Matt McChesney" podcast, Bucky shared his thought process ahead of the Coach Prime's Colorado State showdown in Week 3:

“Whatever people believe in, that’s where spirituality comes in,” Bucky said. “You’ve got to stay prayed up. You’ve got to stay this and that, because it’s daily attacks.
"And that’s what you try to get the team to understand, bro, this s*** is bigger than football. We're not only playing against CSU. You’re playing against the world. The world wants to see you fail. “

Deion Sanders settles feud with CSU coach Jay Norvell's wife

In 2023, the Buffaloes beat Colorado State in a 43-35 showdown, and a lot went down before and after the game.

Before the matchup, Norvell dissed Deion Sanders for not being respectful when he talks to his elders. Deion and his son Sheduer didn't receive the comment well, though.

When Norvell came up to Deion to shake his hands, the Colorado quarterback told him not to put his hands on Coach Prime. Norvell's wife expressed her disappointment with Shedeur's behavior and wrote on X:

"Shedeur acted like a B when Jay turned his back after trying to talk to his dad, and held up his watch."

Deion Sanders answered a question regarding Kim Norvell during his weekly press conference ahead of the matchup:

“Well, I had the honor and the pleasure at the Big 12 meetings to meet his wife,” Sanders said. “She’s delightful. I’m not looking for an apology. I just met her. She was delightful. I don’t judge people based off what they say when they’re emotional.
"I can’t do that man. My heart ain’t built like that. When you show me who you are, I gotta believe you, but I hadn’t seen that. I just met his wife, and she was delightful.”

The Buffaloes take on the Rams on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET at Canvas Stadium as they look to take home the bragging rights for the year.
