EA Sports College Football 25 features a brand new minigames mode, which allows players to test their skills more competitively. These minigames are not only fun to play but will also help you refine your skills in multiple areas.
A number of minigames are included in this year's game that will improve skills you can use during live games. Here are 10 essential minigames you need to master in College Football 25.
Top 10 College Football 25 minigames you need to master
#10. Coffin Corner
The Coffin Corner minigame is a special teams drill that puts the player in control of the punter. There are three target zones on each sideline near the goal line. This minigame aims to land the ball as close to the corner and goalline as possible without crossing the goal line for a touchback.
#9. Trench Battle
This defensive minigame puts you in control of the defensive line as you try to sack the quarterback. Your goal is to use rush moves to get past the offensive line as quickly as possible and get to the quarterback in the backfield.
#8. Chase and Tackle
Chase and tackle puts you on the field as a defender tasked with stopping the opposing team's rushing attack. This minigame will help you improve your pursuit angles and tackling ability as you attempt to wrap up the running back for a minimal gain.
#7. DB Battle
If you want to improve your coverage skills in one-on-one matchups, DB Battle is a minigame you must master in College Football 25. You will control a cornerback and will man up against the receiver. The goal is simple: stop the receiver from catching the football.
#6. Coverage Skeleton
This minigame is similar to DB Battle but will put you in control of any coverage player on the field. There is no rush on the opposing quarterback, so you will need to ensure every receiver is covered and force as many incompletions as possible.
#5. Option Attack
The read option has become one of the most popular offensive schemes in college football. Mastering this minigame in College Football 25 will allow you to read the defense better when you run the read option in live games.
#4. Field Goal Accuracy
This special teams field goal kicking drill will allow you to try out the new kicking meter included in the game this year. You will need to account for the wind to kick the ball as close to the middle of the field goalposts as you possibly can. There are multiple zones inside the posts that will give you a different amount of points.
#3. Rushing Attack
The rushing attack minigame will place you on the other side of the chase and tackle minigame. You will control the running back as you read your blocks and evade tacklers to gain as many yards as you can.
#2. Target Passing
In the target passing minigame, users will attempt to hit as many floating targets as possible while throwing them to the intended receiver. There is no defense on the field, so timing your throws is vital to knocking out the most targets while delivering the ball to the receiver.
#1. Pocket Presence
The pocket presence minigame will help refine your pocket navigation skills while you allow your receivers to get open. There are projectiles launched at your quarterback, and your job is to dodge the projectiles while staying in the pocket and hitting the passing target.
