The Iowa Hawkeyes finished as the 24th-ranked team in the country last season, going 10-4. However, they did end up one of the top defenses in the nation, allowing just 14.8 points per game to opponents.
The Hawkeyes roster will lose some big names next season, with as many as four players eligible for the 2024 NFL Draft. Here is a look at the top three players from Iowa with a high chance of being picked up at the draft.

Top three Iowa players going into the 2024 NFL Draft
#1. Cooper DeJean, CB
Iowa CB Cooper DeJean is entering the 2024 NFL Draft after three seasons with the Hawkeyes. He has a high chance of being selected in the first round as one of the top prospects in his position. His current draft projection places him as a mid-first-round selection, going anywhere from 15th to 20th overall.
DeJean missed the back end of last season with a fractured leg that he suffered in November. He has been cleared to return just ahead of the draft.
In three seasons with the Hawkeyes, DeJean recorded 120 total tackles and seven interceptions. He finished with a career-high 75 total tackles and five interceptions during his sophomore campaign in 2022.
He also spent some time as the team's punt returner during his sophomore and junior seasons. He returned 31 total punts and had one return touchdown.
#2. Erick All, TE
Iowa tight end Erick All will be entering the 2024 NFL Draft after playing four seasons with Michigan before transferring to the Hawkeyes in 2023. All is currently expected to be selected in the fifth round or later.
Having led the Hawkeyes in receiving the previous season, he will be tough to replace. All had 21 receptions for 299 yards and three touchdowns at the end of the 2023 campaign. A torn ACL sustained in mid-October ended his season, but in the few games he played until then, he was able to demonstrate as to why he is a top prospect at his position.
All had his best season in 2021 while playing for the Michigan Wolverines with 38 receptions, 437 yards, and two touchdowns.
#3. Tory Taylor, P
Hawkeyes punter Tory Taylor was one of the country's top players at his position last season and has a good chance of finding himself competing for a spot on an NFL roster this year. Taylor is projected to be a fourth-round or later selection in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The All-American punter had the best season of his collegiate career last season, with 93 punts for 4,479 yards. He maintained a career-high 48.3-yard average, which was the most in the Big Ten and fourth in the nation.
He finished his four-year career at Iowa with 295 total punts and a career average of 46.3 yards per punt. Taylor has the talent and skillset to become an immediate starter for many NFL teams next season.
