The Alabama Crimson Tide is now sitting on a three-game winning streak following a 42-10 victory over Wisconsin last week. First-year head coach Kalen DeBoer so far has done a great job in leading the team through the 2024 season.
Now in Week 5, the Crimson Tide are scheduled to take on the Georgia Bulldogs at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Both these teams are undefeated so far. Thus, several top prospects will be visiting to watch the SEC showdown.
Top 5 Alabama targets visiting Tuscaloosa for SEC showdown against Georgia
#5 Ivan Taylor
Back in July, Michigan managed to flip the commitment of four-star safety Ivan Taylor from Notre Dame. However, his future looks uncertain with the Wolverines, as he told On3's Joseph Hastings that he is in talks with both Alabama and Michigan.
Now, Ivan Taylor will be visiting Tuscaloosa to watch Kalen DeBoer's team in action against another top dog in the SEC. He visited the Crimson Tide twice so far and is potentially a candidate who could make a commitment flip later on.
#4 Maison Dunn
Four-star CB Maison Dunn is also visiting Tuscaloosa to watch the Crimson Tide take on the Georgia Bulldogs. Dunn has been committed to the Ole Miss Rebels since May. Despite this, DeBoer's team extended an offer to Dunn with the hopes of flipping his commitment.
If they manage to get the four-star CB, then he will be the third cornerback commit for the Crimson Tide under Kalen DeBoer.
#3 Christian Ingram
Another notable 2025 prospect heading to Tuscaloosa for Alabama's week 5 showdown is defensive lineman Christian Ingram. He has offers from teams like Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida, and Vanderbilt.
Ingram was present during Clemson's 59-35 victory over NC State last weekend. The Crimson Tide will be looking to emerge as a top contender for his commitment by potentially beating the Bulldogs in week 5.
#2 Andrew Olesh
Four-star TE Andrew Olesh is another player on the radar for Alabama. Despite his commitment to Michigan in June, Kalen DeBoer's team could use the Week 5 game against Georgia to make him overturn his decision.
Apart from Alabama, Olesh is also scheduled to visit Oregon on October 12 for their game against Ohio State. The 6-foot-5 TE could be a key addition to DeBoer's roster in case he commits.
#1 Jaiden Braker
Three-star LSU commit Jaiden Braker recently received a scholarship offer from Kalen DeBoer to join Alabama as a part of the 2025 recruiting class. While he has not yet flipped his commitment, his visit to Tuscaloosa could prove to be a vital move.
As per On3, Braker is ranked as the nation's No. 45 linebacker. His addition could be a boost to DeBoer in the future if he wants to achieve Nick Saban-like success with the Crimson Tide.
