Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks 2025 recruiting class are ranked fourth in college football and will help ensure that they continue to build a successful program in the future. They have already secured 16 commits so far in a class that is loaded on both sides of the ball.

With the Ducks moving to the Big Ten beginning in 2025, building a young, talented team will help Oregon stay competitive in their new conference. Here is a look at the top five players in the 2025 recruiting class who have committed to Oregon and could be difference-makers for Dan Lanning and the Ducks.

Top 5 commitments from the 2025 recruiting class that can change the game for Oregon

#5 Jordon Davison, RB

Mater Dei running back Jordon Davison is a three-star recruit by On3 and a four-star recruit by 247Sports and ESPN. Davison is a physical back with good top speed who can be effective as a blocker.

Davison is the 13th-ranked RB in the 2025 recruiting class by 247Sports, even after an injury held him out of his entire junior season in high school. He received 50 offers from top schools and made visits to Ohio State, Michigan, and Alabama.

#4 Brandon Finney, CB

Brandon Finney is the seventh-ranked cornerback in the class of 2025 by ESPN. The McDonogh High School defensive back received 19 offers and made visits to Ohio State, South Carolina, and Penn State.

Finney is an athletic corner who plays best in press-man coverage. He uses his physical playstyle and his excellent ball-tracking ability to close quickly and make a play on the ball. He also played snaps at wide receiver and is an accomplished track and field athlete.

#3 Dallas Wilson, WR

Tampa Bay native Dallas Wilson is the eighth-rated wide receiver by 247Sports in the 2025 recruiting class. Wilson received offers from 34 schools and also made visits to Miami and Florida State.

Wilson's physicality separates him from other top receivers and he doesn't shy away from helping block for his teammates. Wilson told On3:

"I pride myself on being a complete receiver. I don't let up when it's a running play and I love setting the edge on runs to the outside. It's fun being physical. Not as much fun as catching touchdowns, though."

He finished his 2023 campaign with Tampa Bay Tech recording 49 catches for 872 yards and nine touchdowns.

#2 Dorian Brew, CB

Four-star cornerback Dorian Brew is the fifth-ranked player at his position in the 2025 recruiting class by On3. The Conroe High School receiver stands at 6 feet, 202 pounds, and is a lock-down corner who plays best in press-man and off-man coverage. He has room for improvement when it comes to his ball tracking, but he stays tight to his coverage responsibility.

Brew received 26 offers from top college football programs and made visits to LSU, USC, Texas, and Ohio State.

#1 Dakorien Moore, WR

Duncanville High School's Dakorien Moore is one of the most sought-after players in the 2025 recruiting class. He is the top-ranked receiver in his class by On3, 247Sports, and ESPN. He recently announced his commitment to Oregon on July 4, choosing the Ducks over other schools including Texas, LSU, Ohio State, and Alabama.

Moore is a dangerous weapon on the outside, whose length and catch radius helped him finish his 2023 season with over 1,500 yards and 18 touchdowns. He possesses excellent speed control and can dodge tacklers while racking up run-after-catch yardage.
