#5 Faheem Delane, S
Safety Faheem Delane committed to Ohio State as the top-ranked recruit from Maryland in the 2025 recruiting class. On3, 247Sports and ESPN have ranked Delane as a top-five safety in his class.

#4 Riley Pettijohn, LB
McKinney High School's Riley Pettijohn has committed to Ohio State after visiting Texas A&M, Texas and USC. He is the second-ranked linebacker in the 2025 recruiting class as a four-star recruit.
The Texas native is extremely athletic with extreme range and closing speed. Although he has experience playing snaps at safety, he excelled as a linebacker after assuming the position in 2022.
Pettijohn spoke to On3 about his mentality when switching from safety to linebacker.
"Being switched to a new position, it was hard. But we worked through it. I kept working hard at all the little things. I grew some and added weight (30 pounds)," he said.
"It was the right move. I like being a thorn in the side of offenses. I like to fly around and just make plays."
#3 Na'eem Offord, CB
A five-star cornerback in the 2025 recruiting class, Na'eem Offord is another talented addition to the Buckeyes roster. Offord is the second-ranked CB in the 2025 recruiting class by On3 and 247Sports and the top-ranked corner by ESPN. Offord has received 46 offers and visited Auburn, Alabama and Oregon before choosing Ohio State.
The Birmingham, AL, native plays on both sides of the ball in high school, with 14 tackles and 14 interceptions in 2023. He has posted 182 yards rushing and 211 yards receiving.
His dynamic playstyle showcases his unique combination of quickness, size and athleticism. These qualities make him a top player in the 2025 recruiting class and a potential future NFL draft selection.
#2 Devin Sanchez, CB
Devin Sanchez is the top-ranked CB in the 2025 recruiting class, according to 247Sports. Sanchez plays for North Shore High School in Houston, TX, and is a physically imposing corner. He has an outstanding reach and great ball-tracking skills.

The quarterback has received 25 offers but has chosen to stay in his home state of Ohio and join the Buckeyes. St. Clair spoke to the Dayton News about the opportunity to play college football in his home state.
"I've thought about this for a long time—since I was a little kid. And now that it's happening, it's cool because nobody has really done it from Bellefontaine. The last time we had somebody go to an FBS program was in like the 60s," he said.
