Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes had a massive June. Ohio State currently has the top ranked recruiting class in the nation, and June brought in a ton of new additions for OSU. Here's a rundown of the top five commits of the month (and yes, there are nine to choose from!).

5. Isaiah West, RB

A Philadelphia recruit, the 5-foot-11 West is a 4-star recruit per 247sports.com, which ranks him as the 214th best player in the nation and the 13th best running back. West had committed to Kentucky earlier in the recruiting process, but decommitted in May after an unofficial visit to OSU. He then committed to OSU in June.

At 208 pounds, West is thicker than many high school backs and is expected to be more of a physical, inside runner. Kentucky would have been a logical spot for him, but Ohio State is always looking to diversify one of the nation's top offenses.

4. Quincy Porter, WR

Porter is another outstanding receiver for a team that seems to churn them out. A New Jersey product, the 6-foot-3 wideout is ranked 90th in the nation by 247sports, who project him as their 12th best recevier. A track and field standout, Porter has both top-end speed and the kind of size that should allow him to play on the outside in college.

It's worth noting that Porter chose OSU during a run of visits to impressive programs. He visited Penn State, Michigan, and Oklahoma in the weeks surrounding his visit and commitment to the Buckeyes.

3. Bo Jackson, RB

No, he's not THAT Bo Jackson, the 1985 Heisman Trophy winner. But he plays the same position, running back, and is a pretty significant recruit. A standout from Cleveland, the 6-foot, 205-pound Jackson is a pretty balanced back. He's got breakaway speed but also the physicality to lower his head and get extra yards.

Like others on this list of recruits, Jackson picked OSU and Ryan Day in the middle of visiting a veritable who's who of college football. Around his OSU visit and commitment, Jackson also visited Georgia and Alabama, and he visited Tennessee back in March.

2. Zion Grady, DE

Grady's recruitment was a brave gambit deep into enemy territory. The 6-foot-4, 235-pound edge rusher is from Alabama. Still, the Buckeyes lured the physical standout north and got him signed. Grady is the No. 75 player in the class per 247sports, which ranks him as the 10th best edge rusher in the class.

Grady's visiting season was also impressive, but Ohio State was the last stop and won his commitment. Before that, Grady had visited Miami, Florida State, Auburn and Tennessee.

Ohio State's ability to close on recruits out of their natural geographic comfort zone is impressive, and a testimony to Ryan Day's focus on this recruiting class.

1.Faheem Delane, S

Delane, whose older brother Mansoor is a defensive back at Virginia Tech, is a big-time safety in the 2025 recruiting class. A rangy 6-foot-2.5 athlete, Delane is big enough to support the run, but also speedy and athletic enough to cover receivers. 247sports ranks him as the No. 50 prospect in the nation and the nation's No. 4 safety.

A product of Maryland, Delane sandwiched his Ohio State visit between visits to Maryland and Oregon. Delane did visit Virginia Tech in April, but chose not make his own mark rather than play beside his brother.
