Caleb Downs dominated on a punt return early in the third quarter on Saturday against the Indiana Hoosiers. He let the ball bounce to him before scooping it up, hit a spin move to avoid a defender, and found the lane to run in the touchdown. Going up against the Clemson Tigers, Deion Sanders was back to return a punt in the 1988 season. He returned the punt to the end zone as his blazing speed was just too much, cutting sharply straight down the middle of the coverage team. It would be the difference in the game, as the final score was 24-21.

However, Boston's was the classic play that is remembered from that game. However, adding to the feat was the fact that the Buckeyes strangely had only eight players on the field.
