The Oregon Ducks are about to play in the Rose Bowl on Wednesday, but the transfer portal still beckons. As with most teams still active in the College Football Playoff, the top-ranked Ducks haven't been hit too hard in the portal. But they have already lost a handful of returning players.

Here's a deeper dive into the five best Oregon players already in the portal.

#5, Jaeden Moore, DE

Moore was a three-star prospect from California. In two seasons at Oregon, he showed flashes but hadn't seen significant playing time. In 2023, he had two tackles in four games, thus retaining a redshirt season. In 2024, Moore had six tackles including a tackle for loss. He'll have three years of remaining eligibility, and his next stop is not yet known.

#4, Khamari Terrell, CB

Terrell was a four-star prospect from Texas who hasn't seen much action in three seasons with Oregon. He played more in 2022 as a true freshman than he has since. In total, Terrell has 16 tackles in 22 games and broke up a pass. He played in only three games this season and thus will be able to utilize a redshirt season. He has two years of eligibility, and his portal destination is unknown as yet.

#3, Emar'rion Winston, Edge

Winston was a four-star recruit from Oregon. He spent three seasons at Oregon and seemed on the verge of a larger role in 2023. Winston had 19 tackles, including a tackle for loss and also broke up a pass that year. But he had just eight tackles in 2024 and has chosen to move on. Winston picked Baylor for his next home, and he'll have two years of eligibility to pursue with the Bears.

#2, Tyler Turner, S

A three-star prospect from Texas, Turner has spent two seasons in Oregon. He played in just four games in 2023, thus retaining his redshirt year. In 2024, Turner had seven tackles and broke up a pass. Still, in search of additional playing time, he hit the portal with three seasons left to play. Like Winston, Turner has chosen Baylor for his next stop, where he'll be a player to watch.

#1, JacQawn McRoy, OT

McRoy was a top-100 player in the 2024 national recruiting class. Hailing from Alabama, his choice of Oregon was a bit of a surprise. But McRoy's 6-foot-8, 365-plus-pound frame made him a super-desirable prospect. He didn't see any time for the Ducks this season and quickly hit the portal, choosing Arkansas for his next stop. He'll have his full four seasons of eligibility there.
