College football pageantry is essentially unmatched, and in the SEC, it's on a whole other level. While any major football program gets a big crowd and a rowdy stadium, the SEC frankly just does it differently. Traditions and unique aspects of state and school culture come together to make for amazing pregame moments.

To give a better overview of what the SEC pageantry is like, here are five teams from the conference who are guaranteed to have electrifying entrances in 2024.

Top 5 SEC teams with the most electrifying entrances in 2024

5. Ole Miss

Aside from the Hotty Toddy chants and the usual run out of the tunnel as fans go berserk, the most noteworthy aspect of the Ole Miss entrance is that the Rebels all touch the statue of the legendary Chucky Mullins before they take the field.

Mullins was an Ole Miss defender who was paralyzed after a game in 1989 when a tackle he made caused him to break four vertebrae in his neck. Mullins battled back to return to campus and finish his undergraduate degree in 1990. Unfortunately, he died less than a year later due to pulmonary embolism. The presence of his statue in the runout is a reminder for the team to never quit.

4. Arkansas

Aside from typical home games in Fayetteville, Arkansas used to play an annual game in Little Rock—showing how much love the squad receives across the state.

Their entrance gets bonus points for incorporating one of the big school traditions. You can't interact with Arkansas fans without them "calling the Hogs." Their dramatic “Wooo Pig Sooie” call is unique and identifiable, making it a significant part of their team's entrance on the field.

3. South Carolina

For those who don't know, South Carolina is about "Sandstorm." Everybody knows the song by techno legend Darude. Seriously, even those who don't think they know it will find that they do.

The massive crowd goes to another level when "Sandstorm" plays during the pregame. Carolina even brought Darude himself to see the havoc his track has created in Columbia.

2. Tennessee

As one of the largest in the nation, the Vols' Neyland Stadium packs a massive homefield punch. Aside from the Volunteer Navy, the mascot, and Smokey the Dog taking the field, running also takes place through the T.

With the band forming the Tennessee T logo, Vol players run a straight path down the T on their way to play. It's a spine-tingling moment from one of the SEC's proudest programs.

1.LSU

The Tigers have perhaps the best night environment in all of college football. From the loudest fans to the most raucous atmosphere, it's all there.

This video of the Tigers' tunnel walk, which shows LSU entering flanked by a noisy band and a riotous crowd, is pretty darn impressive. And those entrances could be even more grand with the school upgrading the stadium, including a new massive video board and light system, for the stadium's 100th anniversary in 2024.
