College football stadiums are generally bigger than NFL stadiums. This is mainly because college teams have bigger fan bases made of students on campus and locals visiting the ground to support their school. Nonetheless, several college teams have relatively small stadiums as well.

The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers play their home games at Brooks Stadium, which can host 20,000 fans. The stadium was opened on Sept. 6, 2003, and cost $59 million in construction.
Since 2020, the Brooks Stadium has annually hosted the Myrtle Beach Bowl.
#4. UMass' Warren McGuirk Alumni Stadium (Capacity: 17,000)
The UMass Minutemen football team plays their home games at Warren McGuirk Alumni Stadium, which has a capacity of 17,000 fans. The stadium was opened on Sept. 25, 1965, and cost $1.4 million to construct.
#3. Hawai'i's Clarence T. C. Ching Athletics Complex (Capacity: 16,909)
The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors host teams at the T. C. Ching Athletics Complex, which can accommodate 16,909 fans for a game. The stadium was opened in 2015 and the Rainbow Warriors began playing at the ground in 2021.
Since 2022, the T. C. Ching Athletics Complex has annually held the Hawai'i Bowl game.

The Charlotte 49ers play their home games at the Jerry Richardson Stadium, which can host 15,314 fans. The stadium was opened on Aug. 31, 2013, and cost $45 million in construction.

The Sam Houston Bearkats' Elliott T. Bowers Stadium is the smallest college football stadium in the FBS, with a capacity of 14,000. The stadium was opened on Sept. 13, 1986.
Since 2007, the Elliott T. Bowers Stadium has had a real grass-pro artificial surface.
