Moore's college career at UTSA started modestly in 2021, where he recorded just one tackle. However, he quickly made a name for himself in 2022, finishing the season with impressive statistics: 59 tackles, 18 tackles for loss (a school record), and eight sacks. His performance earned him Freshman All-American honors and set the stage for his breakout year in 2023. During that season, he continued to excel, amassing 45 total tackles, including 14 sacks, which was another school record, and was named the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Defensive Player of the Year.

After three successful years at UTSA, Moore announced his transfer to the University of Texas in December 2023. Since joining Texas, Moore has quickly established himself as a key player on the team, starting in all games since his arrival. His contributions have been vital during critical matchups, including recovering fumbles against formidable opponents like Florida and Vanderbilt.
