The Tulane Green Wave is a college football team representing Tulane University, competing in the American Athletic Conference (ACC). The team was led by quarterback Michael Pratt and running back Tyjae Spears, who combined to amass over 200 rushing yards in the Cotton Bowl. The 2022 campaign marked a turnaround season for Tulane, whose previous season ended in a 2-10 finish. Their accomplishments gave them a final ranking of No. 9 in the AP Poll, which is their highest ranking since 1939.
