His performance earned him several accolades, including a spot on the CalHiSports.com state All-Junior team and recognition as the Southwest Yosemite League Co-Offensive Player of the Year.

Rogers was highly regarded in the recruiting world, listed as the No. 39 overall recruit in California and the No. 36 running back in the nation by ESPN. 247Sports also rated him as the No. 46 running back in the country and the No. 79 prospect in California. His high school coach was former UW starting tailback Rashaan Shehee, which added to the strong football pedigree that Tybo brought to the University of Washington.

At Washington, Rogers continued to build on his high school success. He first showcased his talent in the Huskies' victory over Michigan State, where he rushed for a game-high 74 yards on 15 carries. In his freshman season, he had one carry and one reception in the CFP Championship Game against No. 1 Michigan. Throughout the 2023 season, Rogers played a key role in victories against teams like USC, Utah, and Stanford.
