Tyleik Williams is an American college football defensive tackle who has been a mainstay at the Ohio State Buckeyes' defense over the last few seasons. Williams was a highly sought-after prospect coming out of Unity Reed High School and was the No. 6 player in the state of Virginia. The defensive tackle from Manassas missed out on playing his senior year of high school football due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was a consensus four-star prospect and earned himself an opportunity to participate in the Army All-America Bowl.
The defensive end from Manassas chose to sign with Ohio State over offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Penn State, South Carolina, UNC, and USC among others. Williams played in all 12 games in his freshman season and was credited with 27 tackles and five sacks in 2021. Last season, Williams was the Buckeyes' most consistent linesman, recording 54 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss, three sacks, and a forced fumble in 2023. In three years with Ohio State Buckeyes, Tyleik has played in 35 games and accumulated 90 total tackles, 19 tackles for loss, nine sacks, and a forced fumble. After a monstrous junior campaign, Tyleik Williams returns to the Buckeyes for his senior season.
