Tyler Shough is an American football player who will be playing his seventh season of college football with Louisville Cardinals, primarily as a quarterback. Shough is one of the veterans in college football and spent three years each with the Oregon Ducks and Texas Tech Red Raiders.

After three years at Eugene, Shough decided to transfer to Texas Tech where his breakout campaign with the Red Raiders came in 2022 when he appeared in seven games and threw for 1,304 yards with seven touchdowns and four interceptions. Last season, Shough was limited to only four games after he sustained a season-ending knee injury and ended the year with 746 passing yards, seven touchdowns and four interceptions. After three years at Lubbock, Shough decided to transfer to Louisville Cardinals for his final season of eligibility in 2024.
