Tyler Van Dyke is a college football player for the Wisconsin Badgers football team, representing the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He joined the Wisconsin Badgers in 2024 after transferring from the Miami Hurricanes football team. In 2020, as a true freshman, Tyler played two games during his first season and made his career debut in a romp of rival Florida State on September 26, 2020.

During the 2021 season, his true freshman and first season as a starting quarterback, Tyler started the final nine games of the season and saw action in a total of 10 games. He earned ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year honors in the season. In 2022, Tyler started all nine games in which he competed, leading the Hurricanes in passing yards (1,835), passing touchdowns (10), and completions (160).

Moving on to 2023, Tyler played in 11 games and made 10 starts. He threw for a team-high 2,703 yards with 19 touchdowns compared to 12 interceptions, completing 65.8 percent of passes (219 of 333). Throughout his career, Tyler has earned honors such as the 2021 ACC Rookie of the Year and 2021 ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year.
