Tyler Van Dyke is a college football player for the Wisconsin Badgers football team, representing the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He joined the Wisconsin Badgers as a quarterback in 2024 after previously playing college football as a quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes football team, representing the University of Miami. Tyler made his career debut in a victory over rival Florida State on September 26, 2020.

As a true freshman at Miami in 2020, Van Dyke appeared in two games as a backup to D'Eriq King. He entered the 2021 season as a backup to him before becoming the starter after King suffered an injury. In his first start against Central Connecticut State, he completed 10 of 11 passes for 270 yards and three touchdowns. His performance earned him the 2021 ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year honors.

On November 27, 2023, Van Dyke announced that he would be entering the transfer portal as a graduate transfer. He then decided to join the Wisconsin Badgers football team and announced this on December 12, 2023.
