Tyler Warren is a collegiate athlete who plays as a tight end for the Penn State Nittany Lions, as of 2024. Warren attended Atlee High School, where he excelled in multiple sports including football, basketball, and baseball. During his junior year, he threw for 876 yards and nine touchdowns while rushing for 554 yards and seven touchdowns. In his senior year, he improved significantly, passing for 1,149 yards and 14 touchdowns while adding another 677 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns to his record. Initially committed to Virginia Tech, Tyler Warren later de-committed and chose to play for Penn State. He graduated in Fall 2023 with a bachelor's degree in advertising/public relations and is pursuing a second degree in telecommunications, as of 2024.

Tyler Warren's college career began with a redshirt season in 2020. In his redshirt freshman year in 2021, he appeared in two games, contributing five receptions for 61 yards and one touchdown, alongside two rushing touchdowns. His sophomore season saw him increase his production with 10 receptions for 123 yards and three touchdowns. By the time of his junior season in 2023, he finished the season with 34 receptions for 422 yards and seven touchdowns, tying him for third among Penn State tight ends in single-season touchdown receptions. Notably, he also set a bowl record for tight ends at Penn State with 127 receiving yards against Ole Miss in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. In 2024 as a senior, Warren threw for 1,062 yards with six touchdowns while also rushing for 191 yards and four touchdowns.
