UConn vs Syracuse prediction & betting tips - Nov. 23

The UConn Huskies are on the road to play the Syracuse Orange on Saturday, Nov. 23, at noon EST. The game can be seen on ACC Network.

UConn (7-3) is coming off a 31-23 win over UAB. Syracuse (7-3, 4-3 ACC) is coming off a 33-25 road win over Cal.

UConn is a 10.5-point underdog on the road with the over/under set at 54 points.

The Huskies have been a surprise team this season as UConn has played well. However, the Huskies are on a three-game winning streak.

UConn is led by Nick Evers who's thrown for 918 yards, five touchdowns and five interceptions. The Huskies are led by Durell Robinson who has rushed for 645 yards and seven touchdowns, while Skyler Bell has caught 35 passes for 646 yards and four touchdowns.

Defensively, UConn is led by Malik Dixon-Williams who has three interceptions, Tui Faumuina-Brown has 4.5 sacks and Jayden McDonald has 87 tackles.

Syracuse, meanwhile, returned to the win column with an upset win over Cal. The Orange played one of its best games of the season on the road against Cal.

"I'm just really thankful that we get the chance to go and do this, we get to play in the Dome, we get to be at home, and there's no better feeling than being at home playing," Syracuse coach Fran Brown said, via CNYCentral.

The Orange are led by Kyle McCord who has thrown for 3,476 yards, 24 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

“To start fast and get them early, that was big, and I think both sides of the ball did that," McCord said after the win agasnt Cal. “The defense created some takeaways, and then the offense putting up 27 first-half points was big.”

LeQuint Allen has rushed for 761 yards and 11 touchdowns. Trebor Pena has caught 71 passes for 736 yards and five touchdowns.

Defensively, Syracuse is led by Jayden Bellamy has two interceptions, Fadil Diggs has 5.5 sacks and Justin Barron has 73 tackles.

Syracuse's offense has been solid, as the Orange should be able to get a big win at home against UConn. Although the Huskies have been playing well, McCord will be the difference in this game as he'll throw a couple of touchdown passes for the win.

Prediction: Syracuse 37, UConn 24
