As the college football season progresses, it becomes easier and easier to conduct a 2025 NFL mock draft.

With the season nearing its end, it is becoming clearer which players will go toward the top of the draft. Most notably, two players on the No. 21-ranked Colorado Buffaloes could get drafted in the top five.

Updated 2025 NFL mock draft after Week 11 of college football

Every week, there is more information to update our 2025 NFL mock draft. Many of the top players from recent weeks had big games again, and as a result, they remain at the top of our 2025 NFL mock draft.

#1 Travis Hunter

Two-way star Travis Hunter helped his Colorado Buffaloes (7-2) get a 41-27 win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday. The win puts the Buffs in firm hold of the second spot in the Big 12 and in position to play in the Big 12 Championship game.

As a dynamic wide receiver and cornerback, Hunter (60 receptions and 757 receiving yards in 2024) should be an appealing prospect to any NFL team at the top of the draft. With no quarterback separating themselves as the best option, Hunter looks like the likely first-overall pick.

#2 Will Johnson

Although Michigan (5-5) has had a disappointing that includes a 15-20 loss against No. 8-ranked Indiana on Saturday, cornerback Will Johnson has been a bright spot for the team.

Cornerback is a premium position in the NFL, and Johnson (12 solo tackles, two assist tackles and three passes defended) looks like a player who could make an impact in the NFL as soon as next year.

#3 Shedeur Sanders

A few quarterbacks shuffle near the top of the 2025 NFL mock draft, and this week Shedeur Sanders lands as the top option. Along with Hunter, he makes up a dynamic duo that has helped Colorado make an unlikely push to the Big 12 Championship Game.

Despite a faulty offensive line, Sanders (2,591 passing yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions) has been incredibly consistent this season and will be an exciting prospect to teams at the top of the draft.

#4 Cam Ward

Although the No. 4-ranked Miami Hurricanes (9-1) suffered their first loss of the season 28-23 to Georgia Tech, Cam Ward was not at fault. He still performed well, throwing for 348 yards and three touchdowns.

His record (3,146 passing yards, 29 touchdowns and six interceptions) is the biggest reason Miami has had an unexpectedly excellent season, which should be reflected in a high draft selection.

#5 Jalen Milroe

Rounding out our top five 2025 NFL mock draft is Alabama (7-2) quarterback Jalen Milroe. He is a dynamic runner and a passing threat (1,937 passing yards in the 2024 regular season), a set of skills that always appeal to NFL teams.

Although the top five might be early to draft him, it would not be surprising to see a team desperate for a quarterback reach for him in the top five.
