When looking at a 2025 NFL mock draft, it is important to understand that it will change a lot throughout the college football season. Now that week three of the season is in the books, some players have moved up the rankings significantly, and others have fallen. Here, we will be looking at our updated 2025 NFL mock draft.

Updated 2025 NFL mock draft

With three weeks of the college football season complete, we have a better idea of which players will get drafted high in next year's draft. Here are the top five players from our 2025 NFL mock draft.

#1 Carson Beck

With Quinn Ewers possibly out long-term with an injury, Carson Beck is now in the mix to win the Heisman. He fits the mold of what NFL teams look for in a quarterback. He is 6'4", 220 lbs, and has a great passing record.

He has completed 56 of 82 passes for 680 yards and seven touchdowns through three games this season. Additionally, since Beck plays for Georgia, the number one team in the nation, he will get lots of exposure, increasing his chances of getting picked first overall.

#2 Travis Hunter

Most high picks are usually reserved for quarterbacks, but Travis Hunter is an exception. He is a standout who plays both wide receiver and cornerback exceptionally well. Hunter had one of the best performances in week three, making 13 receptions for 100 yards and two touchdowns. He did that while making five tackles on defense and an interception.

#3 Shedeur Sanders

Although Colorado has had mixed results this year, Shedeur Sanders has performed very well as the quarterback. He has thrown for 85 completions on 121 attempts, 999 yards, and nine touchdowns. He is one of the leaders on offense along with Hunter and should be a high pick next year. It also does not hurt that Deion Sanders is his father.

#4 Quinn Ewers

Quinn Ewers went down with an injury in week three, but it is not yet clear how severe it is. If Ewers is not out long-term, he will still be a high pick in the draft. He has performed very well over several seasons, including throwing for 506 yards and six TDs in just two games this season.

He was the frontrunner for the Heisman before getting injured, so teams might still draft him high if he misses significant time.

#5 Will Johnson

Some experts argue that Will Johnson should be drafted first overall this year. It is hard to argue given Johnson's track record as a cornerback for Michigan. He already has 10 tackles this season and an interception he returned for a touchdown.

Unfortunately for Johnson, he is not a quarterback, so he could fall a few spots before a team picks him. However, he still ranks highly in our 2025 NFL mock draft.
