Utah vs Colorado prediction & betting tips - Nov. 16 | College Football Week 12

Utah (4-5, 1-5 Big 12) is coming off a 22-21 loss to BYU. Colorado (7-2, 5-1 Big 12) is coming off a 41-27 road win over Texas Tech.

Utah is an 11.5-point underdog with the over/under set at 46.5 points.

The Utes are coming off a controversial loss to BYU as a flag for holding was thrown which would have ended the Cougars' final drive, as BYU kicked a game-winning field goal.

“Things out there were ridiculous. Things out there were ridiculous,” coach Kyle Whittingham said after the loss, via Deseret.com. “That’s how I’ll leave it. ... They are what they are. They are what they are. It’s a ridiculous situation, but I’m not going to get into it.”

Utah will likely start Brandon Rose who's thrown for 157 yards two touchdowns and two interceptions. The Utes are led by Micah Bernard who has 860 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while Dorian Singer has 616 receiving yards.

Defensively, the Utes are led by Elijah Davis who has two interceptions, while Lander Barton has 59 tackles.

Colorado, meanwhile, is coming off a win over Texas Tech and controls its own destiny to make the College Football Playoff and win the Big 12.

"I respect the head coach that we're getting ready to go up against so dern much," Colorado coach Deion Sanders said, via FootballScoop. "It's unbelievable. He is one of the pillars of the Big 12 and of course he was like that in the PAC-12. He's a legend, he's a legend. A true legend, what he's done consistently at Utah is just unbelievable. ...

"You cannot take this team lightly. I don't give a dern what their record is. As long as (Whittingham's) over there on that sideline, you better be prepared for a tough game. Thank God it's at home, and it's early. I like it like that."

The Buffaloes are led by Shedeur Sanders has thrown for 2,882 yards, 24 touchdowns and six interceptions. Isaiah Augustave has rushed for 303 yards and three touchdowns, while Travis Hunter has 856 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.

Defensively, Hunter leads the way with two interceptions, while BJ Green II has five sacks and Nikhai Hill-Green has 68 tackles.

The Buffaloes are playing great football and this should be a statement win for Colorado to close in on clinching a Big 12 championship berth and potentially making the playoffs.
