Virginia Tech vs Duke prediction & betting tips - Nov. 23 | College Football Week 13

The Virginia Tech Hokies are on the road to face the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET. The game can be seen on the ACC Network.

Both teams are coming off open weeks last week and had different results in Week 11. Virginia Tech (5-5, 3-3 ACC) lost 24-14 to then-No. 19-ranked Clemson, while Duke (7-3, 3-3) won 29-19 over NC State.

Virginia Tech is a three-point road favorite and the over/under is set at 46.5 points.

The Hokies need one more win to become bowl-eligible but are on a two-game losing streak.

They are led by Kyron Drones who has thrown for 1,562 yards, 10 touchdowns and six interceptions. Bhayshul Tuten has rushed for 951 yards and 12 TDs.

Defensively, Mansoor Delane has three interceptions, Antwaun Powell-Ryland has 13 sacks and Jaden Keller has 64 tackles.

Meanwhile, Duke snapped its two-game losing streak against NC State, after losing to SMU and Miami.

“Winning away, on senior night, against a team that’s desperate to get to win number six is a hard thing,” Blue Devils coach Manny Diaz said on Nov. 10, via Duke Chronicle. “The fact that our guys did it and won by 10 points is huge.

“This group’s got a lot of pride. They're aware of the mistakes that they made in the second half of the Miami game, but that doesn't change what they've done for eight weeks and for two months prior to that. So they felt like they had to come out and set the tone tonight.”

Duke is led by Maalik Murphy who has thrown for 2,366 yards, 22 TDs and eight interceptions. Star Thomas has rushed for 742 yards and five TDs, while Jordan Moore leads the way with 632 receiving yards and six TDs.

Defensively, the Blue Devils are led by Terry Moore's three interceptions, Wesley Williams' 5.5 sacks and Ozzie Nichols' 68 tackles.

This should be a close game. While Virginia Tech aims to win its sixth game, Murphy was solid against NC State and should be able to continue his success.

Look for Duke to get a big win at home.
