Wake Forest vs Miami prediction & betting tips - Nov. 23 | College Football Week 13

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are on the road to play the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday, Nov. 23, at noon EST. The game can be seen on ESPN.

Wake Forest (4-6, 2-4 ACC) is coming off a 31-24 loss to North Carolina. Miami (9-1, 5-1, ACC) is coming off its bye week and before that, it lost to Georgia Tech.

The Demon Deacons are a 24.5-point underdog on the road against Miami.

Wake Forest is on a two-game losing streak and hasn't been playing well as of late. The Demon Deacons led 3-0 against North Carolina after the first quarter but were outscored 10-0 in the second quarter which proved to be the difference.

Wake Forest coach Dave Clawson said the team's execution was not there against North Carolina.

“They play so hard and give such great effort and they never quit,” Clawson said after the game, via LWOS. “But the execution and the details and all those things is just not anywhere close to where it needs to be in order to be a good football team.”

Wake Forest is led by Hank Bachmeier's 2,300 yards, 14 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Demond Claiborne has 919 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns.

Defensively, the Demon Deacons is led by Nick Anderson has two interceptions, Jasheen Davis has 4.5 sacks, and Anderson has 105 tackles.

Miami, meanwhile, is coming off its bye week after a loss to Georgia Tech. The Hurricanes will have to win out to be in the ACC championship game and get into the College Football Playoff.

"The way they ran the football, knowing that they were banged up at quarterback, they did a better job than we did," Miami coach Mario Cristobal said, via ESPN. "Extremely, extremely disappointing. I think, as you can imagine, the entire locker room is really sad, down, disappointed. You have to own it."

Miami is led by Cam Ward who's thrown for 3,494 yards, 32 touchdowns and six interceptions. Damien Martinez has rushed for 676 yards and eigth touchdowns. Xavier Restrepo has 934 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

Defensively, Miami is led by Mishael Powell who has four interceptions, Simeon Barrow Jr. has 5.5 sacks and Francisco Mauigoa has 63 tackles.

Miami will be well-rested after its bye week and will be motivated after the stunning loss to Georgia Tech. Cam Ward should also have a much better game here as the quarterback will torch the Demon Deacons' defense to cruise to a lopsided win.
