Washington vs. Indiana: Preview
Washington is a 6.5-point underdog with the over/under set at 53 points. The Huskies will be traveling across the country in a massive game against Indiana, with ESPN's pregame show "College GameDay" set to have its crew there.

Washington is coming off an open week after a blowout loss on the road to Iowa. It was a disappointing result for coach Jedd Fisch and his team.
"We did not play well today," Fisch said, via HuskiesWire. "We did not, we need to be better coaching, playing, execution, too many missed opportunities in this game. We had plenty of opportunities for this game to be a different score at halftime.
"We had plenty of opportunities for this to be a different score to start the third quarter and we just didn’t capitalize on any of those opportunities and some of it had to do with Iowa, some of it had to do with Washington. And we’ve got to be better in all three phases if we’re going to get on a roll here after the bye.”
Washington is led by quarterback Will Rogers, who has thrown for 1,820 yards, 13 touchdowns and two interceptions. Running back Jonah Coleman has rushed for 681 yards and five touchdowns.
On defense, edge Isaiah Ward leads the way with three sacks, while linebacker Carson Bruener has 44 tackles.
On the other hand, Indiana is atop the Big Ten with a 4-0 conference record and is coming off a blowout win over Nebraska. However, quarterback Kurtis Rourke suffered an injury and won't play against Washington.
"Right off the bat, Kurtis Rourke will not play this week, we do expect Kurtis to return during the regular season, that's all I'll say about the injury," Hoosiers coach Curt Cignetti said, via IndyStar.
With Rourke not playing, Tayven Jackson will start against Washington, and Cignetti has full confidence in him.
"We have 100% confidence, and the team has 100% confidence, I have confidence, the staff has confidence in Tayven Jackson," Cignetti said. "I thought he played really well in the second half."
Jackson has gone 12 for 18 for 225 yards and three touchdowns. On offense, Indiana has also been led by RB Justice Ellison, who has rushed for 514 yards and eight touchdowns.
On defense, Indiana has recorded seven interceptions and 21 sacks, with defensive end Mikail Kamara leading the way with six and LB Aiden Fisher recording 66 tackles.
Even without Rourke in the lineup, Jackson has played well and should be able to keep Indiana's offense on the right track here. Washington has struggled when traveling across the country, and its defense will have a hard time stopping the Hoosiers' offense.
Prediction: Indiana 31, Washington 24.
