Olivia Dunne has become one of the most household names in college athletics, despite being in a less widely-discussed sport like gymnastics. There have been questions about whether she will return for her fifth and final collegiate season, given that she has one year of eligibility remaining.
In a Twitter video, Olivia Dunne read a letter to LSU announcing her return to the LSU Tigers Gymnastics team on Monday afternoon.
"Dear LSU, these past four years have changed my life," Olivia Dunne said. h/t On3 "There's something about putting on a Purple and Gold leotard. There's something about competing in front of 13,000 screaming Tiger fans. There's something about being pushed by your coaches to be your very best. And there's something about being part of a team that made school history."
"No matter how many opportunities come my way off the mat, there's just something about LSU. And that's why I'm here to say: I'm not Dunne yet."
Olivia Dunne is not the only senior returning, her teammate Haleigh Bryant will also return for her fifth season. It will be interesting to see if any other team can compete with the LSU Tigers Gymnastics in the 2024-25 season.
What has Olivia Dunne done off of the mat?

She has a long list of NIL deals that contribute to that valuation. One of the most recent was a multimillion-dollar contract with the content monetization platform "Passes." Dunne was the brand's first NIL partnership.
Below is a list of just some of her NIL deals, showing that it is clear that companies want to use her star power.
- American Eagle
- Nautica
- Body Armor
- GrubHub
- Omaha Productions
This is not taking into account that she is part of one of sports' biggest power couples right now as her boyfriend is former LSU Tiger and current Pittsburgh Pirates All-Star pitcher Paul Skenes.
