"We not new to this" - When Coach Prime's ex-wife Carolyn Chambers rocked "Prime" merch while getting snapped with NFL greats during CU game

Colorado coach Deion Sanders or Coach Prime's ex-wives Carolyn Chambers and Pilar Sanders continue to attend games in Boulder despite being divorced from him. Chambers regularly attends games alongside her children: Deion Sanders Jr. and Deiondra Sanders.

After a lightning start to the 2023 season, a regularly sold-out Folsom Field became a Mecca for celebrities making Buffs games star-studded affairs. Chambers was present during one such game in January 2023. She posted an Instagram reel of herself interacting with several NFL greats Shannon Sharpe and Michael Irvin while rocking Deion Sander's "Prime" merchandise.

Carolyn Chambers was there for Deiondra during difficult pregnancy

Carolyn Chambers and Deion Sanders got married in 1989. Coach Prime was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons then after playing college football for the Florida State Seminoles. The couple share two children, and they got divorced in 1998 before the Colorado coach married Pilar Sanders the following year.

In February, Chamber's daughter, Deiondra, announced her pregnancy by R&B musician Jacquees. In an Instagram post, she detailed the difficulties she experienced while trying to conceive. She also shared she was termed as a high-risk pregnancy by the doctors.

"I’m having my baby for the 4 myomectomy surgeries I have had,” Deiondra wrote in the caption. “I am having my baby for all the years I stayed on birth control even though it gave me breast tumors. I’m having my baby for all the Doctors that told me I wouldn’t make it out the first trimester. I’m having a baby for the 7 current fibroids that surrounds my uterus to this day."

Deiondra showcased her family members' support, especially that of Carolyn Chambers who went with her to doctor's appointments and stayed by her side for most of her difficult pregnancy as detailed in her YouTube channel. Due to the Colorado Buffaloes' hectic schedule, Coach Prime was not always present during his daughter's pregnancy but Chambers filled in admirably.

Even when Deiondra gave birth on her father's birthday, her mother was by her side during the whole procedure until she delivered safely and has continued to feature in her YouTube videos offering her support.

Despite her divorce from Coach Prime, the couple has continued to be civil. On Nov. 2, Chambers reposted a prayer the Buffs coach said for their daughter Deiondra and her family on her Instagram stories.
