Air Noland played for Langston Hughes High School
Noland thrived at Langston Hughes High School. The skillful quarterback threw for over 10,000 yards and 100 touchdowns in high school.
Noland had the pick of the bunch, as he had offers from 25 major colleges, including but not limited to Alabama, Colorado, Clemson, Duke and Kentucky. However, he decided to sign with the Ohio State Buckeyes, where he'll team up with tight end Jelani Thurman, with whom he guided Langston Hughes to the Georgia Class 6A State Championship in 2022.
Air Noland's High School Scout Report
According to Andrew Ivins, 247 Sports' Director of Scouting, Noland reminds him of Atlanta Falcons rookie QB Michael Penix Jr.
Speaking about Noland, Ivins said:
"Noland is a productive southpaw with a faster release that can attack numerous levels on the gridiron. He loves to pick apart defenses from the pocket and takes little time to process reads. He has natural arm talent, plus the pace to get balls to his receivers and drop them in over coverage."
Ivins continued:
"Noland should be seen as a potential point guard for a CFP contender that can push the pace and get his pass catchers involved. He might need a year or two to develop, but his early-round NFL Draft upside is difficult to ignore."
The Ohio State Buckeyes are a great place for Noland to develop his skills. He'll have the chance to throw passes to some of the best wide receivers in the country, and he'll get solid coaching from a school that produces top-notch quarterbacks.
