Deion Sanders's Colorado Buffaloes gave their fans a perfect spectacle at Folsom Field for the regular-season finale, routing Oklahoma State Cowboys for a perfect 52-0 win to round up their season 9-3 and 7-2 in the Big 12 conference.

Shedeur Sanders threw a season-high five touchdown passes while making one interception. Meanwhile, two-way Travis Hunter boosted his Heisman odds by recording three touchdowns on offense and one interception on defense.

The Oklahoma win comes after a disappointing 37-21 loss against the Kansas Jayhawks in Week 13, which ruined their straight ticket to the conference championship and possibly the playoff.

Colorado Buffaloes bowl game prediction: Alamo Bowl seems most likeliest

The Buffaloes (No. 25 in CFP, No. 23 in AP Poll) did what they could by taking an easy win in Week 14. They lead the Big 12 conference, but things could get interesting with other teams - Arizona State, Iowa State and BYU - set to play their games on Saturday.

For the Buffs to secure a spot in the 12-team College Playoff Field, they have to win the Big 12 Championship. Although, their chances of claiming the championship hinge on favorable outcomes in other games.

Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes could play in three bowl games: the Alamo Bowl, the Las Vegas Bowl, and the Holiday Bowl.

The first preference would be for the Alamo Bowl, which would likely like to host the most improved college football program this season. This could be the case if the Buffaloes do not qualify for the College Football Playoff.

If the Alamo Bowl wants to avoid a Big 12 matchup, the Las Vegas Bowl is next in line to host the Deion Sanders program. Here, the Buffaloes will play an SEC program.

In rare cases, if both - the Alamo Bowl and the Las Vegas Bowl - do not wish to host Colorado, the ball will be on the court for the Holiday Bowl. In this event, the program would play against an ACC opponent.

Either way, Colorado will play its first Bowl game since 2016 (except for the Covid-impacted season). The Buffaloes haven't won a Bowl game since 2004, and the program has a bright chance to end the drought since both NFL-bound Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are likely to turn up for the game.
