The Ole Miss Rebels are hosting the Kentucky Wildcats in Week 5 of college football. The game will be available via radio on Sirius XM. Ole Miss's coverage will be on channel 190 and Kentucky's on 374. As usual, both school's radio networks will carry the game and there are web pages available on both school's websites.
Lane Kiffin's Rebels come into the game as one of the favorites to make the college football playoff down the road. They hold a perfect record of 4-0 and the No. 6 spot in the AP Poll. The Wildcats on the other hand are 2-2, having won their two nonconference games but losing SEC clashes against South Carolina and Georgia.
Ole Miss's performance in Week 4
The Rebels easily defeated Georgia Southern last week, with a score of 52-13. Jaxson Dart had another impressive game, with 382 passing yards, four touchdowns, and an interception.
Tre Harris also put on a spectacle in the receiving game, with 225 yards and two touchdowns from 11 receptions. The Rebels' running game was also dominant, with 219 rushing yards and 3 TDs on the day.
Kentucky's performance in Week 4
The Wildcats also won an easy game against the Ohio Bobcats in Week 4. Kentucky ran away with the game and the final score was 41-6. Signal-caller Brock Vandagriff had arguably his best game of the season with 237 passing yards, but his lack of passing touchdowns on the day was a talking point.
It was through 206 rushing yards and 4 TDs, as well as a defensive TD, that Kentucky earned its victory.
Ole Miss vs. Kentucky: Head-to-head
The Rebels lead the series between both SEC schools, with a record of 29-13-1, and are on a three-game winning streak, going back to 2017. The most recent game was a 22-19 win by Ole Miss in 2022. Kentucky's last victory came all the way back in 2011, more than a decade ago, and they won 30-13 that day.
The first game of the series, which was played in 1944, was a 27-7 victory for the Wildcats.
