The Kentucky Wildcats nearly pulled off the biggest upset of Week 3 as they entered the fourth quarter with a 9-6 lead over the then-No.1-ranked Georgia Bulldogs. They eventually lost 13-12 to fall to 1-2, marking their second consecutive conference loss at home to begin SEC play.

What's next for the Kentucky Wildcats after Week 3 loss against Georgia?
The Kentucky Wildcats will look to return to the win column as the Ohio Bobcats come to Kroger Field on Sept. 21.
They return to SEC play as they go on the road for the first time in 2024 when they visit the No. 5-ranked Ole Miss Rebels in Week 5. Kentucky's bye week will come the next week before they return to the field when they host the Vanderbilt Commodores.
They will follow that up by visiting The Swamp to face the Florida Gators in Week 8 before returning home against the Auburn Tigers the next week. Their third matchup against an opponent currently ranked in the top-six of the AP Top 25 Poll will come when they visit the No. 6-ranked Tennessee Volunteers in Week 10.
After their second bye week of the season, the Wildcats return home to host the Murray State Racers, the only FCS opponent on their schedule this season. Their fourth and final matchup against a team in the top-six of the AP Top 25 Poll will come the next week when they visit the No.1-ranked Texas Longhorns, who leapfrogged the Georgia Bulldogs in the latest rendition of the poll.
Kentucky's regular season schedule will end with a road matchup against the No. 19-ranked Louisville Cardinals, their intrastate rivals. They will likely need to win five of their final nine games to earn a bowl game appearance.
