Travis Hunter was a football phenom coming out of Collins Hill Varsity Football. Hunter played both the wide receiver and cornerback position and was viewed as the best player at the latter in his class.

According to Max Preps, Travis Hunter had a 4.0 GPA in high school. The football superstar was thriving in the classroom as well as on the Gridiron.

Travis Hunter had over ten college football offers

Coming out of high school, Travis Hunter had scholarship offers from the best football programs in the country. He had offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Texas, TCU, and more. He eventually committed to play for FSU before flipping the commitment to play for Coach Prime's Jackson State.

Hunter played at Jackson State for one season before following Coach Prime to the Colorado Buffaloes. He was immense for the Buffaloes in 2023, putting up stats of 721 receiving yards and five touchdowns on offense, 23 solo tackles, five pass deflections, and three interceptions on defense. Will Travis Hunter enter the 2025 NFL Draft?

Yes, Hunter will enter the 2025 NFL Draft. The Colorado Buffaloes star is one of the most intriguing players in the next draft cycle.

Hunter's elite ability as both a pass catcher and defender makes him a unique draft prospect. Teams in need of a disruptive cornerback could find a place for him in their defenses, while teams looking for an elite prospect at wide receiver would be eager to draft him.

ESPN's Matt Miller sees Hunter going off the draft board as the ninth pick and finding himself on the Arizona Cardinals. That pick could be ideal, as Hunter would be catching passes from Kyler Murray and sharing an offense with Marvin Harrison Jr. That would set the Cardinals up for success for the next decade or so.

Hence, Hunter would be off the board early on Day 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft. An injury-free 2024 collegiate football season would solidify his draft stock.
