The Alabama Crimson Tide has been the premier program of college football for an entire generation. The program has been able to be towards the top of the AP Poll every single week and would always be within striking distance to make the College Football Playoff. Every once in a while, it would falter and drop below the top 10 in a week's AP Poll, but would bounce back eventually.
With the transition from Nick Saban to Kalen DeBoer being a bit rocky to the point that the Alabama Crimson Tide entered Week 9 ranked 15th in the AP Poll with 643 total points, that put the Roll Tide in an unfamiliar position. They currently are the sixth-highest team from the Southeastern Conference on the AP Poll.
Coming off their 24-17 road loss in the Third Saturday in October against the Tennessee Volunteers, the Crimson Tide are looking to get right back into the AP Poll Top 10. That had people wondering when the last time that the Alabama Crimson Tide was not able to be ranked within the top 10 teams in college football.
