Raheim ‘Rocket’ Sanders is a collegiate football running back for the South Carolina Gamecocks in the SEC, after transferring from the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2024. Raheim began his college football campaign as a true freshman in 2021. Raheim Sanders played in all 13 games, rushing for 578 yards on 114 carries, averaging 5.1 yards per carry, and scoring five touchdowns as per ESPN. His performance earned him the SEC All-Freshman honors.

In the 2022 season, Sanders started all 13 games, accumulating 1,443 rushing yards on 222 attempts, averaging 6.5 yards per carry, and scoring 10 touchdowns. In 2023, he played six games due to a knee injury sustained during the season opener against Western Carolina. Raheim Sanders hails from Rockledge, Florida, and attended Rockledge High School in Florida. During his senior year, Sanders rushed for 317 yards on 20 carries, averaging 15.9 yards per carry, and scoring four touchdowns. Additionally, he made 24 receptions for 391 yards, averaging 16.3 yards per catch, and scored four receiving touchdowns. He also contributed as a kick returner, totaling 237 yards and scoring another touchdown. His overall performance helped his team reach the state playoffs in both his junior and senior years, finishing with records of 8-2 and 7-2, respectively (via Gamecocks online). Sanders was recognized for his talent and potential, earning a four-star recruit status from 247Sports. He was ranked as the No. 19 player in Florida and the No. 8 athlete nationally, which attracted attention from several major college programs, including Florida State, Auburn, and Oklahoma (via 247Sports). In addition to his football accomplishments, Sanders was a formidable basketball player, averaging 9.5 points and 5.7 rebounds per game during his junior season.
