Jacoby Jones was one of the more intriguing players to watch on the football field. The former Super Bowl champion had some great hands which led his teams to victory.
In the NFL, he would be a 2012 first-team All-Pro and be part of the Super Bowl XLVII champions Baltimore Ravens. However, his college numbers were outstanding to get him to that point.

Jacoby Jones played college football for the Lane College Dragons from 2003-2006. He would go on and do incredibly well as he would be a three-time All-Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference player.
Jones would not only be a star receiver for the program but also excelled as a return man for both punts and kicks.

He finished with 68 catches for 822 yards (12.1 yards per reception) and recorded six touchdowns that season.

What happened to Jacoby Jones?
Jacoby Jones passed away overnight in his sleep in his Houston home. However, the cause of death has not been announced as of this writing.
Jones did well as a football lifer as he would play for the Houston Texans (2007-11), Baltimore Ravens (2012-14), San Diego Chargers (2015), Pittsburgh Steelers (2015) and Monterrey Steel (2017).
After hanging up the cleats, he would give back and become a coach. He would go back to his alma mater and be their wide receivers coach (2018-19). He then took the same position at Calvert Hall College (2020), become the tight ends coach at Morgan State (2021) and the wide receivers coach for the Alabama State Hornets (2022-23).
