Beaver Stadium, the home to the Penn State Nittany Lions, has a capacity of over 106,000, making it one of the largest in the world. It has been described as one of the toughest places to play at. But how well will this translate to the virtual world? With the release of EA Sports College Football 25 just around the corner, the developers have released a ranking of the top 25 toughest places to play at. But did Beaver Stadium make the list?

Where did Beaver Stadium rank in College Football 25's "toughest places to play" list?

Beaver Stadium made it into the top 10 of the College Football 25 toughest places to play rankings, coming sixth.

The stadium beat out many other famous and iconic college football venues but was outranked by the likes of LSU's Tiger Field, Ohio State's Ohio Stadium, Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium and Texas A&M's Kyle Field, which topped the list.

Beaver Stadium is known for many unique traditions that have become associated with Penn State football and may have contributed to its large amount of success at home. Its student section has been routinely voted as one of the best in college football, and its "White Out" games create an intimidating atmosphere for opposition teams.

This, paired with the large capacity and the strength of the Nittany Lions program, makes Beaver Stadium one of the hardest places to play at, and EA Sports has noticed this.

Can Penn State go unbeaten in Beaver Stadium this year?

The fans in Beaver Stadium can create an atmosphere that has helped the Nittany Lions overcome their opponents over the years. But can Penn State go unbeaten at home in 2024?

The last time they did so was in 2019 when the Nittany Lions went 11-2 for the season. In 2024, this may be a challenge for them.

Penn State has four out of its first five games of the season at home. The school is against non-conference Bowling Green and Kent State and then begins conference play against Illinois and one of the new teams in the Big Ten, UCLA.

The Nittany Lions should defeat their first three opponents, and while the Bruins may pose a test for them, they are the stronger team, and victory is possible.

However, their next home game a few weeks later will be a contest that will make or break their season. This game is against the Ohio State Buckeyes, who are one of the favorites to win the Big Ten this year.

Unfortunately for the Nittany Lions, the Buckeyes are on paper the stronger team, and by the time these two programs meet in November, Ohio State should be playing at its best.

Penn State will need to show the Buckeyes why Beaver Stadium is one of the toughest places to play. If the Nittany Lions can do this, they could cause an upset against one of college football's best teams.
