The Colorado Buffaloes travel to Orlando to clash with the UCF Knights in Week 5 of college football. Both schools come with three victories a piece, with the small caveat that the Knights are undefeated and the Buffs fell to Nebraska in Week 2.
The game will be the opening act of the series between the Big 12 schools, as their programs have never clashed before. We can expect the game to become a recurring occurrence, following Colorado's move from the Pac-12 to the Big 12 during the off-season.
The game will air on Fox, with Jason Benetti doing the play-by-play, and Brock Huard the color commentary.
Who's the favorite to win the Colorado vs. UCF game?
The Knights are highly favored in the encounter, with ESPN giving them an 82.2% chance of winning the game and ESPN Bet has them as 13.5 point favorites. It will be interesting to see if the Buffaloes can contend with the Knights running game.
In the thrilling 35-34 victory over the TCU Horned Frogs, UCF running back RJ Harvey ran for 180 yards and had two rushing touchdowns. So far under Deion Sanders, the Buffs haven't been the best at producing or stopping the running game.
Another important point for Colorado, as usual, will be the battle at the line of scrimmage for the offensive line. The Buffs only put together 91 rushing yards last week in their 38-31 victory over Baylor. Shedeur Sanders was sacked multiple times again, with the Bears bringing him down eight times.
