EA Sports College Football 25 has released, and many fans want to know who James Moore is. He's the lowest-ranked player in the video game; he's a 12 overall and is a fourth-string freshman quarterback at East Carolina.
Many wanted to know who Moore is, but, unfortunately, the player is not a real person. Instead, he's just a filler in the video game to have ECU have a full roster. Having fake players get created is a way for EA Sports to fill rosters if schools don't have enough players for the game or if players opted out of the game.
Although created players usually are much lower overalls than other players, a 12 overall is unheard of, which is why ECU's James Moore caught so much attention from fans.
James Moore EA CFB ratings
Along with being a 12 overall, Moore has 68 speed, 57 strength and 14 throwing power as some notable ratings.
The stats make Moore unplayable, so if fans are going to use ECU, the hope is they won't have three quarterbacks get hurt in the game. But, many college football fans had a good laugh about Moore's stats.
"It’s a fake player that why he’s 12 just google he not a real player," a fan wrote.
"This video is actually quite hilarious," a fan added.
Luckily,James Moore is not a real player, but fans still had a good laugh about his ratings.
ECU quarterback depth chart
ECU's starting quarterback is Jake Garcia, a junior. Garcia is transferring from Miami and didn't play in 2023, but, in 2022, he recorded 68-for-114 for 803 yards, five touchdowns and four interceptions.
The backup quarterback, who could be in competition with Garcia, is former Michigan State transfer Kaitin Houser, who went 112-for-191 for 1,130 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions, as he was at Michigan State for two seasons.
The Pirates' third-stringer is freshman Raheim Jeter who redshirted last season, but he get 1-for-2 for one yard.
