Jimmy Sexton is a college football agent who represents a number of elite football coaches in the country. The list includes the likes of Alabama legend Nick Saban, his replacement for the Crimson Tide Kalen DeBoer, the Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin, the Florida State Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell, the Texas Longhorns boss Steve Sarkisian, and many others.

The one thing in common among all the coaches on that list is that they were all in the running for the Alabama job when Saban decided to retire. While DeBoer bagged the coveted seat, it also opened the doors for others to get big paychecks from their employers to retain them. Case in point, Norvell just signed a massive eight-year contract with an annual salary exceeding $10 million.

DeBoer has also got a contract with an annual salary of around $10 million, with commitments to him totaling $100 million.

DeBoer has proved himself as a Power 5 coach, taking the Washington Huskies to two straight top-ten finishes in his two seasons in Seattle. The team also finished as the runner-up in the national championship game this season, losing out to the Michigan Wolverines. The Wolverines HC Jim Harbaugh even heaped praises on DeBoer after the game for the way his team fought. The Alabama faithful would like to see more of the same in the coming seasons.
