The Cornhuskers come in as a one-and-a-half touchdown favorite, with the bookies making them 7.5-point favorites. Matt Rhule's team has been surrounded by a positive atmosphere this year, with many positively surprised by the level displayed by Dylan Raiola in his freshman year.

The team's 28-10 victory over Colorado in Week 2 was impressive, although some would argue that Illinois upset over then-ranked Kansas 23-17 the same week was more impressive. Illinois is 2-1 against Nebraska in their last three encounters.
